The boat took them to the airbase in under ten minutes, nearly flying across the surface of the water as the driver pushed it to its limits to make sure that they would make it there on time for whatever rescue was needed.

They didn't know what had happened within the city, but the pilot had been frantic to relay the situation, and now Wolfe was here with a group of powerful people demanding that they hurry.

While he could personally fly much faster than the transport, most of the others couldn't so the plane was a necessity not just for the supplies.

"First, I will create some new Arrays here so that we can do the day's spell casting without any holdups. Then I will have everyone channel mana through me so that we can get it done faster. I know that some of you are better than I am with an element, but since the spell uses three at once, it's better for the overall speed if I do it." Wolfe explained.
