The vibrating thuds signaled their landing, and the large robots pulled out their weapons and clashed with the horde.

Seeing more than a hundred mechs in action was stunning, each slash divided several Nightmares. 

The creatures were being pushed back, causing the soldier to sigh in relief. Christian and the others drove back to the M2. "we are safe. " 

Roland heard his voice and replied, "Safe, true, but for now… never underestimate a Ruler even if it's a fledgling."

There was one thing that every experienced soldier hated and that was that sometimes Rulers could give orders without screeching. This meant they would be oblivious to it, and being in the dark wasn't a good experience.

"What?"

Christain could not understand. He turned and saw the mechs slaughtering the Nightmares. Why would the captain say something like that when the Nightmares don't even stand a chance?
