The day began with soft showers of rain, blessing the Earth.

Selena woke up, feeling some pains in her abdomen. She wrapped her arms around her abdomen and slipped off the bed. Beside her, Timothy was still asleep and she did not want to wake him.

She stepped into the bathroom and slipped out of her clothes and that's when she noticed the bloodstains on them.

Panicking, Selena quickly stuffed some cotton wool in her opening and wrapped a towel around herself. She took another towel and soaked it with water before heading to the bedroom, praying that the bedsheet was not stained beyond washing.

To her relief, when she checked, there was no single trace of blood on the bed. Selena sighed and returned back to the bathroom, picking her phone on the way.
