Yvonne nodded but asked, "Would it kill her?"

A sinister smile appeared on Raina's face.

"Slowly." Raina replied. "Two weeks at most, but she would be spending them in a hospital."

Not only Giovanni, but even Yvonne was shocked. It seemed that she had not expected that part of the plan.

"You said no one was dying! That's why I agreed to help" Yvonne half yelled.

Raina chuckled.

"I want her out of the picture, Yvonne. Don't mess this up or else, your father would be going to jail." She said and turned to leave. "Go now."

Yvonne nodded. She waited until Raina had left before she started walking back to the house.

As for Giovanni, he had not waited to hear the end of their discussion before breaking into a run. By the time he reached his room and locked the door, his heart was pounding in his chest.

He reached for the bottle of water on the table and downed it all at once.
