Ryan stared at that message for a few seconds. His clenched fist was getting hotter and hotter, as all his energy was flowing into his hands at that moment. He was waiting for any sign or change in his surroundings, prepared for a battle that could break out at any moment.

"Nyx?" he said into the void. Looking from side to side, he again called out to his handmaidens: "Lux?".

The girls were slow to respond, but they still had a connection with him.
