章 340: Their Future.

The nightmare repeated itself. 

The bang sound from a gunshot could be heard from her nightmare and she immediately opened her eyes with a start. 

Arissa would have jumped out of the bed had it not been for the weight on her chest. Her heartbeat fastened and sweat rolled down her back. 

Each time the dream reoccurs, it becomes longer and clearer. Surprisingly, the nightmare this time around featured herself in it, and for some reason, she held the gun that ended Nicklaus. 

She parted her lips and let out shaky breaths, trying to push the part of the dream where she raised the gun and pointed it at him. 

She heard the bang sound from the gun and immediately, Nicklaus dropped to the floor and lay in the pool of his blood. She saw the look of disbelief in his eyes as he dropped to the floor and no doubt she was the one who pulled the trigger at him but Arissa refused to believe that.
