Nicklaus's expression turned sour and with an unmasked displeased expression, he let go of his cutleries. 

How could Arissa say this mistake he prepared tastes nice? Was there something wrong with her sense of taste? 

Arissa raised a brow at him, "What was that for?" she asked. 

Nicklaus flexed his jaw, he was almost turning red from embarrassment. He could not believe he prepared such a sour tasted pancake. He should have expected this. 

After all, it was his first try. 

"How do you manage to eat that?" Nicklaus asked glaring at the meal as if it prepared itself. He took only a bite and could not go on but she have taken three bites out of it with a nice expression on her face. 

Arissa cut out another bite and looked up at him, "Because it's meant to be eaten," she said, staring into his eyes, she put another bite of the pancakes into her mouth. 

Nicklaus frowned, "Eaten? That poison?"
