A faint smile tugged at the corner of Allen's mouth. "Finally," Allen muttered under his breath, checking his stats. "That's one thing off the list."

The others gathered around him, noticing the faint glow from his level-up.

"Congrats," Shea said, wiping insect guts off her harp with a grimace. "At least something good came out of all this bug-squashing."

"Yeah, no treasure, but at least you got your level," Bella added, her tone playful despite the mess around them. She kicked the nearest centipede corpse with her boot, scowling at the squelching sound it made. "Though I was really hoping for a treasure room or something by now."

Allen chuckled softly. "I told you, if anyone took the treasure from this place, it was me—or, at least, my character in the past. There's nothing left here for us."

"Except bugs," Vivian added, dislodging the last remnants of ichor from it. "Lots and lots of bugs."
