章 80: Hay

The morning sun peeked over the horizon, its rays falling onto the city of Miaan. Bakers and other local food shops had already set out to prepare the morning's breakfast, and soon the aroma of fresh bread battled with the stench of the shit-covered roads. 

Unfortunately for the residents of Miaan, it seemed that the roads were winning.

Inside the Hogilope Inn, a certain grey eagle awoke. Ghost initially tried to nest on the hard wooden end table for the night, but the thing was unbearably uncomfortable. Sometime shortly after Willow had fallen asleep, the devious eagle crept over to her hay bed. 

'Eh, how can this girl only think of herself? The magnificent me is the only one she can rely on here, but she still fails to give up the prime sleeping space to me?!'
