She had not told anyone that he was coming, so only Erina knew the reason why she was sad on her birthday.

Her birthday celebration has ended, and the family had also done another special little round of happy birthday for her again at home.

All throughout which she tried her best to fake a smile. It took everyone a lot of efforts to put all those things together for her, so even though she was feeling heartbroken and worried, she had to smile, so as not to ridicule their efforts. 

But now it was barely 9 o'clock, and everyone in the house had fallen asleep, tired from the stress of the whole day. Everyone except Erina who laid down with her phone on her chest, trying her best not to cry.

On one hand, she was worried if he was okay, worried for his safety. And on the other, she was heartbroken that he didn't keep his promise. She had asked him a dozen times and he had reassured her every single time. And yet...
