Stepping quietly inside Cassia's bedroom, Liliana saw her mother sitting on the three-seater couch facing the open French doors. The curtains fluttered with each passing of the cool autumn breeze.

Liliana halted in her tracks. Staring at the back of Cassia's head, she recalled the eventful and enjoyable day they experienced on the farm earlier.

Cassia looked genuinely happy. The farm trip seemed to make her more joyful than the picnic at Whistling Creek the other day.

Liliana, Cassia and everyone else spent hours at Moo La Land Farm at the frail older lady's request. Cassia took a short nap in the room Liliana booked before continuing her adventure.

They didn't leave the farm without purchasing some goods from its shop, including fresh milk, cheese, cured meats, jams and various other items.
