Kevin's panicked voice completely sobered Lucas up from his deep sleep.

Without wasting time, Lucas rushed to the hospital where Linda was admitted. He didn't have time to inform anyone at the cafe about his family emergency.

In less than half an hour, Lucas' bike was already parked at the hospital. He reached there a little over four. He ran into the lobby, driven by the shocking news delivered by Kevin.

When Lucas almost bumped into other people, he slowed down his pace to avoid crashing into them. He didn't come here to be a patient.

The unpleasant smell of antiseptic mixed with a citrus scent, lingering in the air. It seemed to play a role in heightening people's worries.
