In the chaos, Old Lau still remembered to show his manners as the butler of the house. He led Liliana to the lounge, telling her to wait there while he called for Thomas and the others. 

Before Old Lau left the lounge, Dylan appeared. The butler perceived the concern and suppressed anger brimming in the young man's eyes.

Yet, Old Lau had no time to spare. He needed to personally tell his master and mistress about the estranged young miss' unexpected arrival.

With a heavy heart, Old Lau dragged his lanky body to Thomas and Katherine's bedroom. They were bewildered when the butler informed them that Liliana wanted to meet everyone in the family.
