Liliana was oblivious to Old Master Ding's plans to let her inherit Luciana's assets.

Nodding, Liliana put down the tea cup on its saucer. Her eyes remained on Old Master Ding. Talia sat between them, enjoying the pudding served by the maids for tea time.

All three of them sat at the pavilion by the lakeside. Butler Chang and two maids waited for them nearby.

"I know that Grandmother eloped because Great-Grandfather arranged her marriage against her will. But, it's clear through the letters that Grandmother had been missing him her entire life. So, I'm curious about him."
