The surprise picnic from Lucas helped to lighten Liliana's mood. She didn't drop by the cafe, instead, she immediately went home. Her body and mind were so exhausted.

Liliana had a good and long soak in the bathtub. She enjoyed the small peace offered by being in solitude. Occasionally, she played with the water, letting it ripple in the tub.

Before the water cooled down entirely, Liliana got out of the tub. She drained the water, wrapped her body in a bathrobe and stepped out of the washroom.

Her eyes were drawn to the brown box sitting on the bed. Next to it was her mother's diaries.

Inside them... would she find something new?

Shaking her head, Liliana went inside the walk-in wardrobe. She put on a cotton nightgown before applying a simple skincare routine. She was too tired to do the extra steps tonight.
