Asher stared at Madam Ma who greeted him at the main entrance of the Shen family's ancestral home. The woman who was as old as his grandmother welcomed him with a faint smile.

Asher unconsciously grasped the right side of his customized trousers. Suddenly, his heartbeat grew erratic.

Without him understanding why, Asher was enveloped by a strong sense to return to the ancestral home.

He actually planned to ignore his feelings and go back to the mansion he shared with Liliana before but, he changed his mind at the last minute.

Halfway through his journey to the mansion, he made a detour and drove toward the ancestral home. In no time, he arrived there. The sky had darkened.
