章 139: I Really Don't Want To Disappoint You

The sun was setting by the time Liliana arrived at Glaslants River Park. The magnificent view of the river sparkling under the orange-tinted sky brought a smile to her lips.

Liliana stood facing the river, waiting for Lucas. They had arranged to meet at this section of the park. Her eyes darted around, looking at the passersby immersed in their own activities. 

Some donned sportswear, jogging in the lane or doing other exercises.

A few groups played at the badminton and basketball courts.

The others were simply enjoying their leisure time by walking around the park or having a small picnic.

On the surface, they appeared content and happy. But, no one knew about the troubles that might be hanging from their hearts.

She was included.

"You've done your best," whispered Liliana to herself.
