After leaving the Public Security Bureau, Ye Leng'an did not go home but instead called Huangfu Ruiling. Like before, the call was answered almost instantly.

"Huangfu Ruiling, I'm outside now, let's go have lunch together!" 

While speaking, Ye Leng'an told him the name of a restaurant. "I'll wait for you there."

"Okay!" Huangfu Ruiling's gentle voice sounded. "I'll be right there."

"Actually, there's no need to rush. If you're busy with something, go handle it," Ye Leng'an said with a smile. "I'm not very hungry now anyway. I'll go there and wait for you first!"

"Mm," Huangfu Ruiling replied. 

"See you later then."

After saying that, Ye Leng'an directly hung up the phone.
