"Wait," Felix said sitting up with shock written all over his face. "I don't understand. Simon Kentley and Paige, are they dating?" He asked still shocked.
"It seems so." Frankie replied
"I need a yes or no answer brother." Felix told him.
"Fe, I don't know. I think they are not dating yet. But they might be attracted to each other or so I hear." Franklin replied.
"Are you trying to say that you disrupted Kentley's relationship brother? Is that what you're trying to say? Because if that is the case, count me the fuck out of this." Felix warned as he spoke through his teeth in obvious anger. "Frankie, did you force or blackmail Paige into a relationship with you?" Felix suddenly asked.
"Hell no! I did not. Why would I do that?" He asked pissed at his younger brother.
"It wouldn't be the first time, would it?" Felix chipped in.
"Look Fe, I told you I was all in and I meant it. I only entertained Fiona when I got from a very reliable source that paige was hanging out with Kentley and they were spotted at various exotic places together." He explained. "Whatever I did in my past should remain there Felix. Stopping bringing up my past all the time and using it to taunt me. I am not that person anymore." He complained bitterly.
"I didn't mean that." Felix murmured his apology as he stood up and started pacing the room. He stood in the middle of the room and turned to his brother. "Frankie, what did you do to get her attention?" He asked. "We all know that having the attention of a man like Kentley isn't something anyone would want to give up on so easily.
"Nothing much." Frankie replied. "Flaunted a little wealth and got her pretty stuff. She was not born into wealth Fe. So, I knew she'd like to experience it. I will definitely spend more on her if given the chance." He explained smiling broadly.
Felix burst into an unexpected laughter. "Frankie please. Don't tell me that you believe she accepted to be with you because of your money?" He asked laughing.
"But of course. Why else would she accept me?" He blurted out before he could stop himself.
"It's great to know that you think so little of yourself. Could it be that you think you don't deserve her?" Felix asked curiously. "And why do you think she accepted you because of your money? In fact, I don't think you are okay. Because if it's about money, we know that you don't even have half of what Kentley have. Maybe a quarter but not even up to a half. He told his brother in a bid to remind him.
"Kentley might be stingy to her." Frankie reasoned.
"And they were spotted at exotic places? That doesn't sound stingy to me brother. Beside that, we saw her diamonds, everybody saw it and I know well enough that you didn't get her those and she didn't get them herself. It has Kentley's handwriting all over it. So, stingy is out of the question because there is no doubt kentley got those for her." Felix told his brother as he stopped beside the window.
On hearing this, Frankie's facial expression changed. He became confused as initially, he thought he had everything figured out. He rubbed his forehead impatiently and adjusted his body. "The thing is, maybe she really like you and not necessarily your money. It's not always about money brother. There are good women out there that can love you genuinely. I just pray you don't ruin this with Fiona's involvement and that Paige doesn't find out about the agreement you had with Fiona because Fiona's involvement was a very childish move by you. When you want a lady, you should work hard to get her in a genuine way of course." He stressed. Meanwhile, tell me brother, does this in anyway have anything to do with your unending personal beef with kentley?" Felix asked now looking at his brother closely to read his body and facial expressions.
"Felix, you're begining to think so highly of Kentley. I do not have any beef with him and I bear no grudge against him too. Kentley isn't that special you know." Frankie said standing up. "If that is all you came for, I guess I've given you all the answer you need." He added.
"I haven't forgotten what you do to your women Frankie. When you told me that you were all in, I believed you because I thought Paige was going to be one of these sophisticated ladies that know exactly what they want and how to get it. But, we seeing her yesterday, we both know she's not all that. She's not your type of woman brother. You like women that are too classy, fashion eccentric. You like breaking them slowly and finally turning them to your puppet. So, what is it about h....."
"And who said I can't control her?" Franklin interrupted facing his brother with hands in his pocket.
"Is that what this is about? You're still mad at Kentley for protecting his sister from you? Is that it Frankie? Come on brother!" Felix called. "You're better than this. You don't have to stoop so low. It's been years ago and Anna was just a young girl whose brother did what every loving brother out there would do. He was protecting his sister. It was better than allowing her date you. You would have ended up breaking her Frankie. What he did was best.
"Do not preach to me Fe, you have no idea what I would have done or not. I was in love with Anna. I was ready to give it my everything." He said bitterly.
"But she never felt the same for you and you know that." Felix added.
"I Know nothing. She couldn't love me right back because Kentley for God knows why prevented her from seeing me. He frustrated every attempt I made to reach out to Anna.
"He was protecting his sister!" Felix exclaimed.
"From what exactly. The devil?" Frankie barked at his brother.
"From you man, From you!" Felix barked back pointing at him. "What if he didn't protect his sister from you? What are the chances that you won't ruin her. What are the chances that you won't love bomb her or what is it that you do to your ladies."
"L.o.v.e b.o.m.b." Frankie said emphatically. "That's a word? What's that?" He asked.
"You wish to act clueless as well, don't you?" Felix started. "You think I don't know you derive joy in breaking your women and making them so vulnerable and dependent on you before pushing them away. You ruin these girl's life. You work so hard to make them fall in love with you and when they finally do, you start ghosting them pretending to be busy. All the while knowing fully well that they've gotten so used to you and have built their world around you. The ones that muster the courage and finally attempt walking away, you draw them right back in and start all over again to win them over building up their dependency on you and making it even harder for them to walk away. And just when you've caught them hook, line and sinker, you ghost them again." Felix sighed.
"And the circle continues again and again and again untill you break them completely. You make them question their sanity and then you push them away. You're a beast Frankie and it's so crazy that everybody out there see you as a saint. So, I am quite happy that you never got to be with Anna Kentley. I doubt Simon Kentley knows who you really are. Cause if he does and he truely love that girl out there, he will never leave her with you for even a second." Felix said almost tearing up while Frankie swallowed hard.
"What is it with you Frankie. What joy do you derive from ruining young innocent ladies. You go about acting all innocent and gentle when deep down, you're so evil. You need help. You need a doctor. You need to open up. Our parents need to know what you're battling with. This is not normal. I've read and made some research on it and brother, you need help. I can help you, if you allow me." Felix offered.
"Alright, that's enough already. I've allowed you to vomit all the venom in you. You just described me, your brother as a monster and that's okay by me judging from the fact that nobody really like you and you're simply the whore in this room because the last I remember, you are the one that changes women like they are some piece of shit. So, you don't get to call me names because you think my sin is bigger than yours." Frankie said. "Paige is not my type of woman, you said that yourself. You're wondering why I'm so smitten with her? Maybe, just maybe it is because she is not my type of woman. How about that Felix? How about that!" Frankie barked angrily.
