章 89: The Spirit Guy

We're all over the world. Let me give you a quick rundown of our history. We are a hacker family. We are national and international professional hackers.

We have extensive experience with vulnerable scanners, password cracking, spoofing attacks, packet sniffers, viruses, root kits, Trojan horses, and key loggers.

A few genuine hackers use their skills to find flaws in company security systems, preventing identity theft and other computer-related crimes.

We are not like them. We only work for money. We couldn't care less about ethics. Our tuition and bills were never paid for by Ethics. We've got a racket, a citadel of computer wizards, the technological avant-garde with the most in-depth knowledge of computers and networking.

There's only so much I can tell you about us. That goal has been met. We work as contractors. There are no personal grudges. We have a network, but there is always rivalry, cabals, and cliques just like every other organization.

So we moved to Africa many years ago. We are Nigerians, but we know nothing about our country. Thank God we met ninjas like Daxy, and you know what, there are some raw talent here.

Then something strange happened. We came across a hacker who was unlike anything we had ever seen before. He doesn't have a partner in the game. Our FBI informant brought him to our attention.

There was a National Financial Crime Agency secret file. It was a list of the bank accounts of 700 corrupt government officials.

This file was incomprehensible and impenetrable. Several hackers attempted to reach it, which resulted in the collaboration of various master hackers to reach it, but nothing was discovered.

Then later it was discovered that someone had gotten in, crossed to the banks, and was withdrawing ten dollars every day.

This accounts contained large sums of money, amounting to millions of dollars. This went on for a long time, and no one noticed the serial withdrawal because the amount was so small, and even when it was discovered, they assumed it was an error because it made no sense that someone would crack into such money and steal just ten dollars.

Until Fisko Farreli, an ICT expert, raised the alarm that it was a heist. It took months to figure this out. The first thing that alarmed the world was how the file was cracked.

The FBI invited a large number of ICT experts, including hackers and black hats hackers included. The perpetrator was never found.

The heist was discovered to be watching or following the moves made to crack him, and he would send humorous messages as trackless as the sea.

The spirit was his name. This quickly became the greatest internet mystery. And he became a phenomenon, a dream guy, and an exceptional genius.

The thief suddenly stopped the stealing and vanished into thin air. Nothing was heard again, and the case became an unsolved mystery, despite the fact that we know they are still on it.

You then met Bas. I'm not sure how you got her to buy you food and give you money. She is not easily approachable, but you succeeded.

She became intrigued when she saw you doing the same thing to another girl. She fixed her gaze on you.

This led to her discovering that you are a computer genius because she detected some radio waves that you tapped while enjoying and surfing the internet for free.

Bas is superior to me. She is an expert when it comes to computers and networking. A programming queen and a hacking colossus.

She began programming at the age of eleven, but she was unable to hack into your system or identify the properties of your waves.

Because your phones were untraceable, she became very suspicious. She worked on you for months and discovered that you used to go to Zone 4, near Sheraton, to sell ten dollars every day and then stopped when the heist ended.

I couldn't believe it at first, until the FBI discovered that the funds had been sent to Africa but could not be transferred further.

I couldn't believe we found the spirit during the micro-chip era because all you needed was a micro amount.

You devised a highly complex program that disbursed the funds in ways that no one would suspect.

BQMN was used by you. But you vanished into thin air, and we searched for you for months before she found you." Justin was astonished.

He had no idea anything like this was going on around him. He thought that nobody could figure out his patterns.  He had overestimated a few things. Whoa! She's got to be a genius!

"We are not your adversaries. We do not intend to report you. We'd like you to join us. We don't understand why you didn't take much of the money. It appears that you only stole to eat. You're a foodie, right?

We want you to join our family and make some serious money. We don't break into accounts, but we do get paid to hack. You have what it takes to make us the best hackers."

For a while, Justin remained silent. "All right, no more evasion." He stated. "I hacked into those accounts because I was hungry and thought I could get it from those corrupt officials." For a while, I did this.

Making a daily income of one thousand six hundred naira. But, at some point, I realized that stealing from a thief was not justifiable. Thieving is thieving regardless of who you steal from.

As a result, I stopped using the App entirely. It was tempting, but I never took more than ten dollars per day because my goal was not to get rich from it, but to survive, and food was my primary goal. This includes hacking.

I'm not interested in getting involved. I want to live a quiet life. I'm sorry I can't agree." Justin replied.

"I believe you must consider the prospects and what is at stake." We know about the microchip era, and that would be a massive global discovery."

"If you want to blackmail me, feel free. What do you think I stand to gain? Do you believe I am joy and happiness with my life? I couldn't care less. Perhaps that would be my chance to become famous."

"You're just being unnecessarily stubborn." Kacha stated. "We understand you. We will provide you with ten million naira." Justin had a smug smile on them.

"I don't believe such a sum can persuade me to change my mind." He stated it clearly to them.

"I have a bank account with over a billion naira, two houses in Victoria Garden City, two in Asokoro, and a country house in Miami." So much for your ten million."

"Can you tell me where you got all of these?" Kacha had inquired.

"I have them in my dream world." Kacha had burst out laughing. "They said you were crazy, but you're even crazier."

"I have to go. I've got some bread outside. Will you not purchase some? Our bread is tasty." Justin stated.

"We've got another offer." Kacha stated. "If you comply, we will not reveal the micro-cheap era, and you will have the opportunity to know who you are."

Justin had come to a halt and turned. "What exactly do you mean?" He inquired of them.

"You must tell us what we want and do what we want, and then you will know what you need most in your life." Justin, we know everything about you."

"How much do you know?" "You were not, as claimed, picked up from a dump site."

"What are you really talking about?" "You were taken there to be photographed."

"Why would they do such a thing?" "And who is it?" Justin asked

"You don't get that for free. There is a cost to it. He stated. "Your life is more complicated than you think or imagine."

You were sent for a reason, and something happened. Let me tell you something: someone else is living your life. A life that was supposed to be yours." Kacha said.

There is a second Justin Abbas. I'm guessing you have no idea why they gave you the surname, Abbas. We've got your cradle .  "Do you recognize this?"

He displayed a white fluffy cradle to him. Justin thought it looked like the one in the picture.

"We expected your reaction." Kacha stated. "And we were prepared. You were not abandoned. You were transported from somewhere. I'm sure you'd like to know where you came from, ICT boy. And you will be astounded when you do.

They made a mistake by leaving a tag with your name, Justin Abbas, on your cradle."

"This sounds absurd. What are you talking about? Who exactly are you? How did you find out about these? You're about my age, bro."

"I'm twenty-three years old, Justin." But you know nothing about me. We know things because we searched for them. I'll give you three days to consider it.

Have you heard that Nigerian prisons are overcrowded, but they would still accept more inmates, such as the micro-chip guy? Then consider the freedom, money, and the opportunity to discover who you are."

Justin had no idea why the image of Petra came to mind. It's not that she liked him, and he had no intention of asking her out, but something kept drawing her to him, and now that the prison was mentioned, he realized he might just have a reason to live.

"Are you expecting me to believe this?" You can simply buy any cradle and tag it. But don't think I'm afraid of the prison issue." He stated that he was not convinced.

"Are you familiar with Dr. Abbas?" Justin paused as he said this. "He's got a son named Justin." What's up, Addy? That is the man who is living your life. You used to play with them when you were a kid.

They claimed you were rescued from a dump and adopted. You now understand what I'm talking about." Yes, he was aware.

"How did you find out?" You only moved to the country three years ago."

"That's as enigmatic as we could get." He exclaimed proudly. "I hack for Addy and, just to be safe, I looked through his archives." I discovered you there.

Aren't we lucky, dudes? And when we combined it with what Bas discovered, we discovered a gold mine. You were not rescued from a landfill. "That was a staged shot."

"Where am I from?" "Who are my biological parents?" Justin inquired immediately, and Kacha smiled.

"Do you see why you have to join us?" We currently have a job that no one has been able to crack. We need you here, but you must explain how you do it. What tools do you use for hacking? What makes you so special?
