章 38: Division
At the school the final was taking place as usual Liya and her crew finished singing But the moment Victory were called bo one showed up. The leaders announced Division winners Liya was very happy she was called up as leader to take the trouphy their team won the best fenal crew singers Lorena walked on the stage.
"Thank you, very much now we all witness here today that Division is the winners please give them a big applause (people clap) thank you very much and now I have an announcmemnt to make but first the school is sending our deepest cndolences to Sean. Yes his granmother passed away yesterday night please let us have a moment of silent for him for a while" the student were quiet. Kate stares at Liya she was seeing her helding a trouphy while being very happy she was very shocked.
"Thank you now, let us move forward to the upcoming compettion. The Best school singers the competition will be opening this coming monday, all singers are welcome to join, you may have a great day" The tornament was done Liya and her crew returned back to their room. Kate took Liya away from others.
"Did you know?"
"What are you talking about Kate?"
"You know exactly what am talking about Liya, did you know that Sean's grandmother died last night?"
"Yes My father received a call last night and they left this morning"
"I can't believe you Liya, you have changed so much, I can't even recognise you anymore"
"What did I do now?"
"Really, Sean is burrying his granmother and tou are here singing? Is that right Liya?"
"My family is there that means they are giving their condolances on behalf of me too"
"You know what? Nutaila was right all along Liya, you care nothing but Fame and trouphys you want the school to be under your knees always, but to say the truth you really don't know how to sing, you just pushing yourself too hard" Liya slapped Kate very hard. Liam and others heard that they turned and saw her.
"See you around Liya, live with what you have become" Kate took her things and followed Liam.
"I am leaving this group, If by any chance I hav made a mistake to any of you then I'm terribly sorry, enjoy your winning" She turned around and walked away.
The other side afternoon there was a funeral. They were burrying Clair's body Sean's friends were there as well as Mr Sam Enisa and their daughter Leyla. They burried well Clair's corpse amd sometimes later they were giving their condolances to Sean he was sitting all alone Sam and Enisa went to sit beside him.
"Sean my boy, I am very sorry about nanny Clair"
"It's alright sir, atleast she died proud of me and she was happy, I am grateful that she gets to rest now"
"If you need anything Sean, we are here for you, okay we are family don't forget that"
"Thank you madam Enisa but…. i wont be staying here anymore, I already moved my things to the U.S and when the school closes for a location I'll find a place to lay low for a while"
"It's okay Sean thank you for being with us all along, we will meet again in the US we have a plane to catch back"
"I understand sirl Sam and Enisa took Leyla and walked away. Sometimes later people decreased a lot from the funeral. Sean was sitting along with his crew they were conforting him. Jason showed up to them.
"You guys lost the final, the headmaster called me and told me that Divison won"
"We don't care about that trouphy sir, one of our family members lost someone precious to him, we couldn't just leave him to himself and chase down the trouphy, we don't care If the people call us losers anymore atleast not after what we have done, we put family first"
"Wow, I'm proud of you William, thank you guys for being by his side"
"It's what family do sir, you don't have to thank us"
"Okay then, prepare yourselves tomorrow morning we will be returning back" They all agreed. Tonight that day Sean was outside the house all alone staring at the stars. Nutaila showed up behind him.
"We have to leave early tomorrow Sean"
"I can't sleep, everytime I close my eyes I keep seeing her face, she was happy the day I left for the U.S she was the one who convinced me to study, she knew all along that she was going to die that's why she prepared me to depend on myself when she's gone. She knew she was sick even before I left."
"I didn't know her that much Sean, but she wants tou to be happy, that was her last wish and If you really hold her dearest in your heart then you have to fulfill her last wish, she wouldn't want you to be sad"
"Thank you Nutaila, you are always there for me on my worst, you were there the day I got dumped, you are the first one to reach on me without even care the circumstances. You gave up the trouphy because of me even though you knew that If you were to sing today morning you would've won" Sean gave her a warm hugg Nutaila was shocked.
