Commander's back crushed into the wall with a loud thud. The wall didn't even get scratched even though he was an Intermediate Apprentice Mage. The reason behind was quite simple, Khione had activated the defensive barriers, forming a temporary shield that dispersed the majority of the damage.

Commander coughed out dark-red blood as he face-fell into the hard pavement.

His eyes wildly fluttered as he tried to keep them open despite a wild desire to take a short nap, but it probably would be his last slumber as he might not wake up at all as the archers above him had already deemed him as a corpse with their glee-filled eyes.

"Hahaha!" a burst of hysterical laughter came from the archer that sent the commander flying as euphoria erupted through his body, clearly showing his mental instability as a crazed smile couldn't be washed off his face.
