Even though now he had confirmed that Dexter is somewhat of a half related sibling to him, he still doesn't feel he could become one with the Huang family, neither does he feel that he is a part of the Salvatores. 

Vincent Salvatore, his uncle was as revenge driven as he could feel from Clayton. Both of them wanted for the death of Selena and Allan to be avenged but by using him? 

Lev scoffed inwardly. Never, that is never going to happen. 

He dislike controls. If there is one thing he hadn't told Ilyana was his dislike for being controlled by someone and both Vincent and Clayton shows that they would only control him for their own sakes. While he does feel that he need to either confront or kill Paollo Huang, he doesn't think that he needs to comply with Vincent or Clayton.
