章 93: Hazardous Secret

Rachel sucked the most air she could to fill her lungs and turned the rounded knob. She stepped in, her black heels creating the soft click on the wooden floor. She then looked at the man who is older than her by seven years. Their friendship started when he was still in his late twenties while she was barely in her early twenties. He wasn't how he was now, rugged, old, his black hair he always kept short seemed to have grown longer, thinner and all white. 

Even despite how his illness had made him pallid as though grim reaper was sitting beside him, he still looked as strict as ever, perhaps even stricter as before he would smile while greeting her. She gulped, finding this kind of him to be more troublesome to deal with. 

"Paollo, it's great to see that you are in great heal—" she thought about her words and cursed slowly. "I mean it's great to see you."
