章 15: Good Morning, Hubby!

When they returned to the villa, Tang Beibei hung their clothes in the closet. When she saw the filled closet, she felt as if her heart was also filled. 

She ran downstairs, the sound of her footsteps joyful.

She went to the kitchen to make dinner, to reward her husband for taking her clothes shopping. 

"Beibei, do you need my help?"

Tang Beibei wanted to refuse, but she thought that he was sick and probably lonely sitting in a wheelchair all day. She might as well find something simple for him to do so that he could feel useful. 

The book she read today mentioned that effectiveness of most treatments depended on the patient's mood and mental state.

"You can help me peel garlic." Tang Beibei showed him how it was done before she asked him softly, "After you peel the garlic, help me slice it, okay?"

Jiang Jingchen couldn't help but smile when he heard her child-coaxing tone. 

"Of course."
