"Excuse me, what did you just say?" Asked a baffled Siegfried.

The petite girl rose up, moved her dark purple hair out of the way, and looked at him directly.

"I want you to teach me!"

Siegfried rose an eyebrow at this.

"What happened to the 'I want to carve my own path' that you said before?"

Iris's cheeks gained a bit of color.

"I still want that, but…If I find someone that could help me improve faster…I cannot let the opportunity go away!."

Siegfried observed her determined face. Flashes of old memories invaded his mind. As not only a King but a master of the spear, he had a long line of young men and women, who wanted to become his disciples.
