--MC POV--
"First, we have to put some distance from here then I'll answer your questions. Let's go to Laura's pub" I said as Lydia carried me to my car and put me in the back seat while she took the driver seat.
It didn't take long to arrive to Laura's house and by the time we arrived I was able to move again and I had prepared the words to tell Allison.
We got out of the car. Laura and Derek were not here as they had to drive Stiles' car and bring him and Scott to their respective houses.
Allison also arrived one minute after us and while she was a little cautious when she got out of the car. She still trusted us enough and followed us.
"So, are you going to finally explain what happened?"
"While it may sound like the plot of a movie or a teenager's series, the supernatural truly exist. Me, Lydia, Malia and all the other people you saw this night at school are part of it".
"How did you hide it? How is it possible that something like this exist and people don't have the minimum idea."
"This answer is above my knowledge, but I know that us supernatural beings tend to hide ourselves, if people find out what we are, fear will spread and they could try to go against us. Moreover, it would destroy our normal life. So, please don't tell anything to your parents." I told her.
"As if they would believe me?"
"They will." I stated, I need to tell her the whole truth for her to trust me.
"What do you mean with that?" she asked, while her expression assumed a frown.
"Do you remember the story about your family that you told us? It wasn't a simple story. What your ancestor killed was a werewolf and even now your family go around the world hunting supernatural beings like us. They have come here to kill the same man that tried to kill us tonight".
"It can't be… possible" She muttered, unable to accept the fact that her family hided something this big from her for her whole life.
"I know that it is shocking and that you want answers, but please don't reveal what I told you to your family. If they find out about us, we'll be in danger" Her expression slowly calmed down, even if there was still sadness in her.
"Ok, I'll act as if nothing changed with my family, but from now on I want you to always be honest with me and to help me understand the truth behind my family" her words brought a smile to us.
We risked our lives and suffered a lot, but at least we were able to come clean with Allison and improve our relationship with her.
--Peter POV--
Damn it I couldn't achieve anything even with the advantage I had in the beginning.
Scott has revealed himself to be useless, it seems that I'll have to kill him too, since I can't control him.
"How much has it advanced" I asked the nurse, who was looking at my back.
"It is getting bigger. What is it?" some of my skin turned into scales a few days ago.
"It is probably related to the kanima, I must have broken some supernatural law I didn't know. Considering that it appeared the day I killed the man in the DVD store and it got bigger, today after I killed the janitor, it must mean that I cann't kill people myself, while I own a kanima" I said, trying to come up with a theory. Either way what I need to do won't change.
"How are we going to get you back to normal".
"I don't know how to cure this, but I'm sure that if Jackson dies, the curse will disappear".
"You are going to kill him?" asked the nurse, without even showing a little sympathy for the boy we used, and she is supposed to help people.
"No, I have to use him to the best of his capabilities, I'll have him die at the hand of our enemies, but we'll have to fasten our plans because of the curse".
"How are you going to deal with both the Argents and the other shapeshifter, when you nearly lost your life today" this damned woman! does she think I'm weak?
"Look there" I said pointing at the enormous cocoon in the corner of her living room.
"About that, what is he doing?" Asked the nurse, not pleased at the prospect of having a part of her living room occupied by a giant cocoon.
"He is going to reach its final level, when he will come out of that cocoon he will be bigger, badder and Jackson personality will be dead. With this we won't have any problem ending my plan. Also, how is the other one?"
"He received a concussion to the head, but he is a werewolf so I think he will wake up in some hours".
"Good, he will be angrier when he wakes up and this may make him more useful. Such a pity he didn't turn out like Jackson. I thought that by giving the bite to another adolescent with mental problems I would have gotten another kanima, but all he amounts to is a weak pawn, who got knocked down in one hit." Fortunately, I have Jackson with me.
It is also about time I take out this annoying nurse, I'm tired of dealing with her bullshit.
Next time I'll be sure to kill all of them.
--MC POV--
We were staying at Laura home as I couldn't go back home with my currents wounds and since they were inflicted by an alpha it will take some time to get better, but I think I will be able to move around without suffering tomorrow.
"So what exactly is a kanima?" I asked Laura who was looking thought her laptop for some information.
"I did not expect for you to have your family bestiary on a USB" I added.
"We had the book too, but it got destroyed in the fire. Luckily I had scanned it all before it got lost. Also keep in mind that differently from hunters families, who travel a lot, our bestiary is lacking, but when it come werewolves and its mutations, we are quite prepared". Replied Laura as she found the page she was looking for and started reading it.
"The Kanima is a mutation of a werewolf that couldn't fully transform, because of the emotional issues of said person who got the bite".
"Jackson has strong jealousy issues. Sometime his smell gets unbearable." I stated, agreeing with the description.
"It also say that the kanima bond with one person, who will become its master and as time pass it will slowly lose his original personality and free will, if it doesn't resolve his issues."
"Yes, but does he have a weakness" asked Lydia.
"Well… about that I have great and bad news" stated Laura.
"The bad one?"
"The kanima can evolve in something more dangerous with wings" what the hell? Wings?
"The good news is that it's master deepest fear become the beast's weakness. Now we just need to know what Peter's deepest fear is." She added immediately after seeing our scared faces at the mention of a possible evolution.
"What about fire?" I proposed.
"He nearly died burned alive and he spent years slowly regenerating from his wounds. So, it must have been traumatic".
(I know many didn't like last chapter, but this is just the beginning of MC's adventures, every great story start with failures)
