Shaoqing followed Sora to an open valley, sighing and sitting down in the grass. Sora had sat down next to him, placing his hand on his leg. This caused Shaoqing to close his eyes in annoyance, letting out a deep sigh. He really did not like the fact that he was left here alone with Sora. He wished Meilin didn't tell him to go with Sora and Yongliang to get the car. He was even more mad that Yongliang had Shaoqing get in the car with Sora and lead him home.
He was now stuck with this boy, having to deal with his inappropriate touches. He hoped that the boy's sudden interest in the boy who saved them would get Sora's attention off him, but he realized that wasn't going to be the case. The last few days, Shaoqing had to deal with Sora's random touches. He's glad nothing escalated, but he was starting to get worried that it would.
"Why don't you get some sleep," Shaoqing said, pushing his hand off and pushing him down into the grass. He quickly moved away before Sora got any ideas.
"I'm not tired," Sora said, causing Shaoqing to narrow his eyes at him.
"I swear you probably are," Shaoqing told him. "If we have to fight that demon again or hike back home, getting rest is the most important. So get some sleep."
"Won't you cuddle with me?" Sora asked, reaching his hands out towards Shaoqing. Shaoqing gave him a glare, turning his back away from him.
"I told you. I don't like to be touched," Shaoqing said. "I don't cuddle with strangers."
"I'm not a stranger, though. I'm your roommate," Sora said. Shaoqing rolled his eyes and looked at him.
"Just get some sleep," Shaoqing told him. "I'll stay up and keep watch."
"Fine," Sora said with an annoyed sigh before closing his eyes. Shaoqing kept his back to him until he knew the other was asleep. He let out a deep sigh of relief when Sora actually did fall asleep. He definitely didn't want to deal with him.

Everett and Jay separated so they could cover more ground as they searched the woods. They only returned after Leon had messaged him saying the demon came back but was scared off by the humans. Everett let out a breath of relief, walking over to Jay and bowing. Jay smiled and bowed back.
"Let's go tell Dongwu and Yanjun to go home. You guys are pretty close so it shouldn't be too far of a trip for you, right?" Everett asked, causing Jay to shake his head with a smile.
"We can make it back just fine. Do you guys stay around here?" Jay asked, causing Everett to nod and point behind him.
"I'm just back there. Probably an hour or so hike," he told him. He started walking forward towards the location Yanjun gave him. "I told Gavin to go back, but Leon is still by the road just to watch for a little longer."
"What are you going to do?" Jay asked him as they walked along the forest.
"I'll probably take those boys back to safety, since they're obviously lost," Everett told him. "I will probably get in trouble, but if the demon is after that boy I don't want him getting hurt. If I can help it."
"That's sweet," Jay said with a grin as they found Yanjun and Dongwu ducking behind some trees, watching a campsite in front of them. "Let's go."
"Huh?" Dongwu asked, turning around and looking at Jay with a frown. "Already?"
"Yeah. They got it from here. It's time for us to get home," Jay told him. Dongwu sighed and stood up, nodding his head in agreement.
"Have a good night. Get back safe," Everett told them, causing Jay to smile and wave. Everett waved back and watch them leave before he turned back to Yanjun. "Head on back. I'll get these two."
"Oh do take care of them," Yanjun said, his eyes looking glossy as he looked back towards the two boys. "He's so beautiful."
"What are you on about?" Everett asked, rolling his eyes and smacking him. "Go find Gavin. I'll see you soon." Yanjun huffed and turned away, taking out his phone to call his friend.
Everett turned and made his way towards the campsite. He stepped in just as someone jumped out at him with a very sharpened stick. "You-" Everett was quick to stand back up, not even needing to use his sword and sheathing it before flipping the boy onto his back, who seemed to have been shocked upon seeing the face of the one who was approaching them. "I save your dumb ass and this is how I'm repayed?!" He exclaimed.
"Oh! Hey handsome!" the boy said, the shock soon turning into a grin as Sora came running over. "Sorry, you can never be too sure when you're in a dark forest. I was just watching out for sleeping beauty."
Everett glared at him, causing Shaoqing to laugh softly. He pushed himself up off the ground. Sora stared at the boy, biting his lip softly. He was suddenly speechless..
"Let's go," Everett said, causing the other boy to frown.
"Go where?" he asked him, causing the Everett to look at him.
"To safety," Everett said.
"But we have to know your name first," the boy said with a wink, causing the Everett to glare more at him. "Please! Sleeping Beauty would love to know your name."
"It's Everett," the boy said, looking between the two. "Now let's go."
Sora nodded his head immediately, continuing to stare at him. Everett took a few steps forward before stopping, sighing, and turning back around. "Are we not going? Please. I doubt either of you know where you are considering where you found yourself and- just- come. Now." He said, crossing his arms before turning around again. "I will drag you both if that's what it takes for the two of you to follow." He said, using two talismans to attach a string of spiritual energy to the two boys. Once he finished, he pulled to make sure it worked before beginning on his way forward, dragging the two along and taking out his phone to call Gavin and Leon.
