As the egg began to hatch I was hit with mental strain. I never should have tried hatching them all at once but it was better to push myself to the limits and loose a few than to hatch them all with weakened Bonds. Aleksi caught me before I could fall and I was grateful when he carried me over. I was worried I would have to crawl over. It was only when I was close to the egg that I began to sing. My teacher had used to sing to her eggs even if she wasn't hatching them. She said it helped keep everyone involved awake for the process. The egg hatching was the time when both Hatcher and Hatchee were at their weakest.
