The mark that connected her with Cane had gone, which only left the connection between her and Decratic. The bond between the Serafim and Decratic. The balance between light and darkness.

Iris felt like she was being drawn, but she was too lazy to save herself. She was too tired. Her anger, pain and misery made the silence in this darkness became very therapeutic, something that she needed.

She was spent because of the rage she felt, the never ending battle, which resulted the death of so many people she held so dear. Probably, this was her sign to stop trying and let everything happened as it was.

This was very quiet here, very peaceful. It was the opposite of what was going on out there. Too many deaths, too many pain, too many gut- wrenching cries… she didn't want that anymore when she was finally being in peace.
