With piles of work that he had to complete in order to get his pack back on its feet as soon as possible before they left for the Riverside pack and the Diandem pack and how he had to keep his ears open to the turmoil that happened in the capital city, his hands were already full. Not to mention Aderan caused trouble by taking away the Queen. For now, Cane sent people in search of Aderan and to drag him back before he could board a ship. With the war for the throne happening for weeks now, not many ships got approval to sail. It should give them enough time to find Aderan and the Queen.
