After running away for about an hour, taking random turns every couple of minutes, and almost getting killed several times as there were other creatures in the massive forest. Such as horned rabbits, more goblins, and small packs of wolves. Which were all quickly smashed to death and stored in Alex's [Inventory].
Once finding another cave and making sure there were no inhabitants. They finally sat down and rested as they were constantly moving these past two days. But a good thing happened during their trip. Alex leveled up again.
But before he uses his tokens, he examines the rest of the cave to make sure there are no other unwanted surprises. Other than finding some bugs, the cave was cleared and empty. So he examined the notification he had gotten

The system gave him this quest when he found the cave though he had to ignore it as fell into a trap.

Alex used all 3 tokens and hoped for something good. Since tomorrow he will try to conquer the damn Goblin dungeon.

Alex was kinda glad with what he got. [Silent Step] will be helpful if he has to sneak around and now he has someone that can talk for him. So instead of saying single words in other people's minds, possibly scaring them away. He now can use Warren to talk with others.
He immediately summoned Warren and left anky body.
A Clunking noise was heard in the cave, echoing off the cave, soon followed by a quiet deep voice saying "My lord" and "Yes you may my lord".

Alex was just surprised by all of Warren's abilities. Especially Warren's passives such as [Body Count], that's a really useful passive.
Alex read the rest of Warren's stats and went back into Anky's body, he also desummon Warren as it was not time for him to come out yet.
Artin meanwhile was contemplating what to do. Most of her life was bad, she was living in the slums with her brother. Her brother is the only family she has, she never knew who her parents were. She was around the age of 10 and her brother was 13 when Lusa adopted them.
She at first thought that Lusa was just a nice, frail old lady who lived in some sort of small cottage or house but she was very wrong. Lusa was the headmaster of the wind magic division, apparently, she is the best wind mage that's currently alive.
She was really thankful for Lusa taking care of her and her brother. Especially since Lusa started to train her with the use of magic while sending her brother to the swordsman division. She herself has a high potential to grow as strong as Lusa, maybe even stronger.
Artin's strongest affinity is wind magic, when tested it came out as an SS-rank Wind Affinity, with Lusa telling her wind affinity is even stronger than her, which is an S-rank Affinity. But Artin was born with a small mana pool with weak mana control. So she could only cast weak spells but with her harsh training with Lusa, she was able to become a C-rank mage in 4 years.
Yet here she is, kidnapped by some humans, her magic core starting to crack, was going to be sold off, saved by a weird metal creature, and finally being rescued by her grandmother. Only for the metal beast to be killed by that damn second prince, her grandmother entrusting a beast core to take care of her, the second prince almost raping her, the beast core somehow transforming into a spiky orange beast.
Killed the second prince, then traveled for two whole days, hardly taking breaks, getting little sleep, falling down a pitfall trap, almost getting killed by some goblins, escaping by casting some earth magic, damaging her already cracked core even more. And running away for about an hour.
All she wanted to do was sleep on a comfy bed, take a hot bath, and eat some hot food. But noooo, all she can currently do is sleep on the cold hard floor.
As she was thinking about it, Alex came up behind her and gave her some head pats, seeing that she was currently depressed. Alex used his [Mana Tendril] and wrapped it around Artin and brought her close to him. He brought out some blankets he bought from the system 3-4 days ago and covered Artin with them.
The reason he did this was that Artin had dark circles forming around her eyes and she was already dozing off as soon as he wrapped her with blankets. He hasn't fallen asleep yet as he has some questions to be asked and answered, even if he really wants to sleep right now.
[Alexa, why did I level quicker when I was killing goblins, wolves, and rabbits than killing undead Treants?] Alex was wondering why it only took fewer kills to become level 3 when he killed literally hundreds of undead Treants.
(That's because most of the undead Treants you were killing were I-rank and H-rank. While the creatures in the forest you killed were between F-rank and D-rank, meaning they have a higher value, giving out more XP as anything below F-rank hardly gives any XP.) Alexa quickly explained why there was a difference between his kills.
(And 2 more things. One, if you want to see how much XP you need to level up, go to the options menu, and two. The [System Shop] had an update, which only allows you to buy things you touched and items from other universes will be locked until you summon someone from that universe. Weapons such as guns will only unlock items for that specific gun. And the [Passives/Abilities Shop] has been removed)
