章 15: The Queen's Power
She waited another moment, but the darkness still engulfed her and her surroundings. She had a creepy feeling. "This isn't good," she thought to herself. She illuminated the area with her weapon. She looked around and realized she was in another place. The setting was unusual, the temperature was extremely cold, and there was something in the air. She detected the odors of acid, limestone, and rotten flesh.
She looked up and noticed a ceiling and a wall made of gypsum rocks and dolomite. She realized she was inside the cave and wasn't having a hallucination. The queen can also transport physical bodies, similar to teleportation. The distinction was that she used witchcraft, whereas they used advancement of science and technology.
Then, all of a sudden, a massive white animal-like creature appeared. On his large mouth, large sharp teeth appeared. His eyes were bright red, and his ears were pointed like bats. The creature is a cross between a large bat and a large bear. Three of them are staring at her with a blood lust. They're fast, but she's been trained to move faster than humans and wolves.
She killed one monster with her laser sword weapon.
Damn!
Her gown was ruined, and a splatter of monster blood stained her ball skirts.
One down, two to go. Their vulnerability, like that of other monsters, was their head. The female creature arrived just as the two monsters were about to attack her. She grabbed the monsters and sucked the nape in one swift motion. The monster's massive body melted inside the plastic bag like hard ice turned into water.
The woman looked at her, and her scanning device informed her that the woman's capabilities are in a difficult level if you compared it to a computer game. The woman was white as snow, with silver eyes, sharp teeth, black lips, and sharp nails. Her once wrinkled white skin had smoothed out. She was wearing tattered red dress. Her silver hair glittered in the dim light of the cave. Her eyes flashed ready to devour her.
She surprised her by not attacking her and instead fleeing. She was also fast, twice as fast as the bear-bat-like creatures that attacked her. She went to the lifeless bodies of the monsters and noticed that the flesh was still intact, and when she lifted and inspected the corpse, she discovered that all of the bones had vanished. The vampiric-devil-like woman sucked the monsters' bones.
She also noticed the woman's round silver necklace lying on the ground. When she attacked the demon bear-bat monster, she noticed it dangling from her neck. She took it and attached it to her all-purpose weapon. She will examine it later if she is able to return.
Are these creatures inhabitants of this world? Are they the result of the queen's magical spell? She must know, or the human and global populations will be jeopardized. She abandoned the monsters' remains and searched for a way out of this cave. She started by photographing them. She then took blood and flesh samples from them in order to study them later.
She tried to communicate with Lilet as she followed the narrow path, but she couldn't reach her. She realized she needed to get out of this restricted area.
When she saw her surroundings, she cursed. For the first time in her life, she was terrified of falling into a place like this. She picked up a rock from the dusty, rocky ground. Her surroundings are vastly different. The sky was reddish, and a large portion of it was brownish. The rocky mountains were also red or brown, and the air was dusty.
She examined the rocks and discovered that they were made of raw metals such as platinum, iron, copper, and nickel.
What happened to her?
What is this place?
She climbed the rocky hill while walking through the windy dust. Her eyes widened when she noticed thousands of demon bat-bear-like creatures on the other side of the mountain.
How and why that happened to her? She questioned herself once more. She attempted to communicate with Lilet but was unsuccessful. She's a fighter, but she'll never be able to defeat thousands of monsters. She scanned the ore she had taken from the ground. Her device informed her that the ore was 50% platinum. She needed this metal to repair the multiverse travel machine. The machine will transport her back to her original world.
Her eyes widened as she realized what was going on. The queen whisked her away to another dimension, the spheres of monsters. She was astounded by the queen's power. It took her a century to figure out how to use the multiverse travel machine.
Yes, she is a half-century old wolfless altered werewolf. In human terms, she is seventeen years old. Her one year is equivalent to ten years for humans. If she found a mate, her age could be slowed. If that occurs, she will be nearly immortal.
Her brain was engineered to its full potential after being scientifically modified. She is fast and powerful because she does not require any other substance, such as blood or the youth of young girls, to maintain her strength and youthful beauty. In her world, she is the most powerful human-wolf weapon.
The monsters were grouped together like a school of fish, a lemur conspiracy, or ape cunning. She took the demon bone-sucker woman's necklace. She had a feeling the woman wasn't from this dimension as her. Was she from the world which she came from?
In her modern world, governed by laws of humans, she would know if something like her existed. The agency would send her to eliminate the beast.
She examined the necklace and recognized the inscription. She scanned the necklace with her all-purpose weapon. The pendant is an amulet. The scanner discovered a resemblance to Aryana's book, which she had borrowed from her to study. She scanned the information and saved it to the archives.
Her father's insignia was a polar bear inside three triangular lines. Was the bone-sucker woman a member of her father's pack? Why didn't she attack her?
She examined it more closely; the necklace has a round pendant with an insignia in the center. She noticed that the center was slightly protruding. She pressed it, and it pushed back.
She was back in the library before she knew it. Only Lilet and Luke were waiting for her, the queen was nowhere to be seen. She appeared to have been in a terrible accident because of the blood stain on her gown. Lilet immediately transported her away to their spaceship to know what happened to her
