章 216: End of the First Day

After they left the pods, everyone gathered at the center of the room. Most of them were still a little off, however. As if they just woke up from a long sleep, their eyes were unfocused and simply staring ahead, looking at nothing in particular.

"We... returned to the real world, right?" Melina, one of the few who were staring at nothing, asked absentmindedly.

During the second part of the game, the third event, they started off by getting out of the pods too, after all. To them, it feels like they're still inside the game. The borderline between fiction and reality was blurred after the stunt that Lilith pulled on them.

"Fufu!" Lilith laughed, realizing what Melina was worried about. "If you're still worried, you can try and pinch your cheeks. Inside the game, the pain is limited to half at most, after all."

"Ah, I noticed that when Charlotte—I mean, Lilith—killed me earlier!" Aqua raised her hand, announcing her experience for all to hear.
