章 16: LONG NIGHT

Isabelle who was in the car all this while watching couldn't help but gasp at the scene that welcomed her.

Seeing the lady in Xavier's arms, her hands clenched around the steering wheel as she watched them enter the car.

'This couldn't be happening' she thought as she freed her hands form the steering. She then tugged her hair in annoyance as she screamed inside her car, but no one could hear her.

She couldn't believe that she let an opportunity like this slip away from her fingers. Fear enveloped her when she thought of how Elder Quinn would react if he was to hear about this.

Elder Quinn had promised her marriage with Xavier, all she had to do was to be here so that when the drug would take effect she would be there to satisfy him and then get pregnant which would in turn lead to their marriage.
