"I'll tell it to you as a story." Elian began in a soft tone as he grabbed a chair from his study table, taking his seat. Inna sat at the edge of the bed, placing one of his pillows on her thighs as she looked more than ready to listen to Elian's story.
"I like stories."
"Well I'm awful at telling them so don't expect anything fantastic." Elian thought it'd be best to advise her beforehand, but the young lady was barely shakened, her brown eyes glimmering with endless curiosity.
"I'll try not to."
Sitting back, Elian remained quiet for almost a minute, as though he was building up the energy he needed to dive into his traumatic past, and only after he let out a deep breath did he finally begin.
