1) The original title was "Winning the Luna's Heart" and it's a little obvious why I changed it ;)
2) I started and finished the book when I was 16 (2019) on wattpad but took it down cuz it was a little cringe. It was only this year (2022) that I got a proper editor and made a lot of great changes
3) Originally, Matako was never part of the story at all. They were going to break up but it was going to be caused by Takumi coming home late and drunk and then accidentally calling Yuri's name while he was having sex with Twilight. Yuri was who he was supposed to cheat on Twilight with. But I changed my mind.
4) Yuri was never supposed to be nice to Twilight. She was actually supposed to try to steal Takumi from Twilight hence the reason for the first fact.
5) Yuri was also straight and the engagement was supposed to be broken up because she got pregnant with her boyfriend's baby
6) Takumi was supposed to get a vasectomy but I realised that it was fiction so I decided to play by my own rules
7) Originally, Takumi and Twilight's first time having sex was wild and a little unrealistic. So I thought I'd make it a bit more realistic and as cute as possible while still having that spice
8) I included more issues that women face than I did in the first draft and added how I wish they'd be dealt with in the real world. For example, the attempted SA, that guy eyeing Twilight even though she was a minor, how there was doubt about her leading because she wasn't a man and so on
9) Trey was supposed to come back and try to get Twilight back.
10) Takumi's mom and Twilight were never ever supposed to finally get along.
11) Twilight was supposed to find out that she was pregnant by thinking that she was sick and not getting better then her dad takes her to the hospital and they find out.
12) There was a time when Twilight was experiencing a burning feeling in her chest because Takumi was sleeping with Yuri (before I changed Yuri's sexuality)
13) Twilight was originally redheaded but then I watched Gintama (The main character had silvery hair) and thought white wavy hair that was uncontrollable sometimes would be interesting. Daenerys from game of thrones also played a huge role in my decision to change it. I just made it white
14) My friends have constantly questioned my mental health whenever they read some of the scenes
15) I didn't know how tall to make her so I used my own height. Her height issues were based on my own experiences
