Bella coming into our life was crazy but exciting. I got to experience all the first things she did, which amazed me. This tiny human I helped create made me proud.

When I found out that she got her first tooth, that didn’t make me proud. How did I find out? She bit me. The little bugger put my finger into her mouth and bit me. I couldn’t scream, or she would cry even though that hurt like a bitch. You got to love kids except for this. This, I don’t love.

Now that we knew she had teeth coming in, I shoved a teething ring into her mouth when she wanted to chew on something. She also slobbered a lot. I swear I was raising a drool machine.

Besides getting teeth, she started crawling. She wasn’t quick. Thank God. I could still catch her. That was until she took her first step.
