so who is this person? i mean, the person with the dove's energy and who is Luna?" Isabella asked and mrs coker grinned
"they are somewhere in a castle, having a chat over a cup of tea" mrs coker said and Isabella frowned
she glared at mrs coker and then the cup of tea on the table between them
"Wait, don't tell me....." Isabella trailer with dilated eyes
"why don't we just discuss the most important thing? did the people who fulfilled one mission or the other really became human or....ghost?" mrs coker said and laughed "ain't you curious about it, my princess??" mrs coker asked and Isabella nodded
"yeah, you know the answer to it?" she asked
"Well, you see....they can never become human but monsters instead" mrs coker said
"how do you mean?" Isabella frowned
"Why don't you let me tell you the mystery behind why his majesty and ashes started the yearly mission hunt in the first place? that would be easier to explain than your main question" mrs coker said
"go ahead" isabella said eagerly
"you see, fifty years ago, the woman called Luna visited an abandoned library in the south side of Li' Dynasty, there she found a book which entails everything about the star plaque, curious about if something like that really exists or not, she took the book home and started studying it,
"one day, his majesty found the book in Luna's room and became intrigued, he selfishly asked Luna to go in search of the plaque but she refused bluntly so she was locked up in the royal dungeon for defying the king.
"inside the book, fifty families were listed, according to the book, one of those families are in possession of the plaque and it can only be taken from them after the entire family has been wiped out but none of the executed families has the star plaque so far, The Maxwell family are the only one left so his majesty strongly believe and is convinced that they are in possession of the plaque" mrs coker explained and Isabella scoffed in disbelief
"So I'm going to become a monster after i help his majesty and ashes obtain the plaque?" she asked grimly
"you are not only going to become a monster, your soul is going to be sacrificed to elongate the life span of his majesty and ashes" mrs coker said solemnly
"you mean, his majesty has been using others life to buy long life for himself?" Isabella asked, utterly shocked
"exactly! the ones who refused to die were locked in the secret dungeon" mrs coker confirmed
"then my sister, lana is dead?" isabella asked angrily
"I'm not so sure about that" mrs coker said and Isabella clenched her fist in anger
her long nails pierced into her palm and blood came dripping out
"I'm not going to fulfill this mission, i can't" Isabella said and mrs coker chuckled
"as if you have an option. His majesty is going to make you pay with your life and certainly, he would wipe out the maxwell family himself and end up obtaining the star plaque
"but he would never be able to use it for a good cause and instead bring chaos to this world, I'm sure you don't want that" mrs coker said and Isabella scoffed angrily
"then what do you suggest i do?" isabella asked with raised brows
"well.....actually, I'm confused too" mrs coker said and laughed bitterly
