Black heart curse

"The main reason I came to this place in the first place, was to try and find the evolved giant rabbit, even though it sounds strange, but its meat is the only thing to cure the black heart curse, one of the most deadliest disease and curses to elves, when I was eleven, I went out of the village despite the warning on my parents, my mum was scared, feeling restless she searched for me all over the village and was able to find a clue about a me leaving the village.

she immediately grew worried as she left the village immediately, she knew that the the death archer demon would always appear at the ending of the year and curse anybody he sees. I continued to walk deep into the forest, as a child my curiosity knew no bound. That was when I say a man in black amour, it didn't exactly resembled a man.

It had red glowing eyes, and it has no shadow. I kept staring at the man as he pulled his bow and aid straight at me, that was when I heard my mum's voice, she told me to get down but seeing that I was frozen in fear she ran directly into me bushing me said but she wasn't lucky enough as the arrow went directly to her heart.

It was strange that there was no blood coming out, people found us and brought us back to the village, they said she was stroke withe the black heart curse and she would die in six years time. I've been searching for a cure ever since. it's the sixth year and i still haven't found a cure yet but recently I found out about the evolved giant rabbit, so since here was the only hope I had to find it since it was home to giant rabbits, I came I've been in this forest for a week now, but I still haven't found anything.

It's all my fault, my mum would die because if me."Lilly said as tears began to roll down her cheeks. "It's okay Lilly, here have this."Zane said stretching his hand as the corpse of the evolved giant rabbit he killed appeared on the ground.

Lilly couldn't believe his eyes, it was an evolved giant rabbit, the monster that was ad rare as a precious gen stone, the monster that can save her mom. "Thank you Zane, I owe you my life, I swear I'll do anything you ask of me even if it kills me."She said with tears in her eyes as she hugged Zane. "It's alright Zane, your mine and your worries us my worries." Zane said patting her head. "This human, it's like none I've ever seen before, fighting his fellow human just as to save an unknown elf, reducing five of his lifespan to save me even though humans have a short life span and now he just solved one if the biggest problems of my life." Lilly thought to herself hugging Zane even tighter.

"we better get going, the earlier the better." Zane said as Lilly instantly nodded, Zane placed the monster back in the spatial storage for convenient sake. They each took a portion of the roasted giant rabbit while leaving the rest behind.

They continued to walk for two hours straight as they soon came to a stop in front of a giant fence if mostly plant, it seemed to have only few people guarding it. "open the gates." Zane said showing the guard a badge. "It's a Valkyrie." The guard said in a loud voice alerting the gate keepers. The gate instantly opened revealing what Zane could call a natural paradise. It was made up of almost all natural features, it all blended in harmony, the sight was something that would always be inscribed in his brain.

"follow me to the palace"Lilly said dragging Zane's hand who just stood like a statue mesmerized in the beauty of the village. "But why the palace, shouldn't you go home first and heal your mother before doing any other thing?"Zane asked in confusion. "I know, that's where I'm going." Lilly said pointing to a building with layout and structure that he has never seen before.

"Beautiful, but wait if this is the palace and also your name, that must mean you're a princess." Zane said In disbelief. "oh I guess I only told you my name and not my tittle or status. "please my name is Lilly Al Elsra, princess of the elven kingdom, and also one of the seven elf Valkyries." she said with a prideful tone.

"I didn't know you were a princess, I have a princess as my slave, what would the king do to me."Zane thought to himself.

{inside the palace}

"so you mean a humans did all that for you and most especially he hunted it for you?" The king asked Lilly while looking at Zane. "Yes." Lilly said. "Then please human go rest up, you will have your reward when things are settled ." The king said calling one if the servants to take care of zane.
