章 7: I'm in control
Cameron fell face first on to his pillow after returning from the extravaganza of a day he had just had. He turned his body facing up and glared at the Omnitrix, he was tempted to hold the two green buttons that activate the watch, but chose to fight against temptation. He closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.
➜[Unknown Location]
"No way! You cheated." A guy with long brown hair exclaimed to his bald partner.
"Nope. That's just how the game is played." The bald man picked up the deck of cards.
"Whatever. As I was saying before you cheated and won. Aren't you going home to check on your sister?"
"She thinks she's responsible now, so let her be. If she wants to kick me out of the house and live with her stupid boyfriend while wasting our families money on nonsense let her be."
"You could always bunk with me."
"Hell-"
The water tank started vibrating catching the attention of the two men, the tank blew open and the Omnitrix drone rose from out of the small scraps of the tank. The drone was half broken, its paint was tainted and it wouldn't stop buzzing with sparks, one of the men grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
Twenty minutes later a white opal drifted into view and stopped outside the unknown building, the person inside rushed into the building after exiting the car.
"Wha-"
The person paused with a widened glance as he stared at the drone that was ready to fire at his friends. The man fell on to his knees.
"Stop my beautiful drone. I am the one who woke you up from your slumber not them, so leave them be!"
The drone turned its attention to the suited man.
"Gordon are you crazy?"
"Stand still." Gordon instructed to his friends. "Stay right there."
"That things a killer drone-"
"-I am still your boss! So listen to me when I say stay away from this thing."
"Yes sir."
"I apologize for waking you up from your slumber, but your parts were so valuable that we just-"
The drone fired a red beam at the window shooting passed Gordon's car. "Sorry. We didn't mean to harm you it's just tha-"
A bunch of wires rose out from the drone and quickly attached themselves into Gordon coursing him to scream and hold his head in utter pain, a red energy surfaced from the drone and ran down its wires entering Gordon's mind.
Gordon opened his eyes and he was now in a dark room floating endlessly.
"Where is it!" A voice sounded.
"What? Where is what?" Gordon said, looking around in distraught.
"The Omnitrix! Where is it?! My scanners say it was used not so long ago by a human... And you are one..."
"The Omni what? What are you talking about. I don't know what that is."
"The Omnitrix! The Omnitrix! The device that is able to turn anyone into another species."
"Sounds nice. But I don't know where it is. The last time I heard of anything alien related was when those stupid mutant heroes started popping up on the news."
"Not meta humans!"
Gordon grabbed his head in pain.
"You serve no purpose to me at all, you are utterly useless! Because of that I'm going to destroy you... In other words I'm going to kill you!"
"I don't think that's possible."
"Excuse me?"
"You can't kill buddy, actually you can't do anything besides this which surprised me a bit. Those lasers of yours are out of your mainframe, I blocked them... You can't fry me or anything..."
"Then I'll continue doing this!"
"Continue making my head pain, do it for all eternity even. In the end I won't die you'll just be wasting your time."
"...impressive... Very impressive for a human... Maybe you are useful... Give me access to my strengths and I will give you something back in return."
"Don't trust you. I know the second I give you your powers back you'll kill us all."
"...understandable... But there is another way for me to have access to my powers while you have watch and control over me..."
"Control over you?"
"I am able to eternally interlink with any life form I choose, and I choose you human. You will be granted half control over me and I won't be granted any control over you..."
"Seems like- no. My minds changed, I'm starting to think your parts are way more valuable than you."
"What?! We can do so much if we were interlinked! So much! I know there is something you want, you are human! I can give you all just link with me!"
"You're sounding very desperate. This link must boost your states or something. Nah I'm not interested though."
"Gordo-"
Gordon pulled the wires out of his head and stood up. "Power it down."
"So those parts it had actually mattered huh?"
"Yeah."
"What happened in there?" The bald man asked curiously.
"Nothing really important."

Cameron now wearing his original black shirt which was attached to a white sleeve approached the door of the factory. He took a look around before knocking on the door.
Nobody opened, it was complete quietness, it didn't even sound like someone was inside, this brought worry through the spine of Cameron. He looked down to his watch expecting the worst had happened.
He knocked again and the door creaked open stuttering him back a bit. He extended the door fully open and entered.
The factory was dark, there was no light on to shine up the room. Cameron now more use to the room, walked over to the area he remembered the light switch was located around and felt the interior of the wall at that point, until his fingers brushed up against a bulky area. He pressed his fingers into the bulky area and the lights flickered on.
He turned around his eyes following the flickering of each light, until it reached the light near the doctors working area and that's where the doctor stood. He jumped back terrified at the sight of the doctor.
"Doc dude. What the hell?"
"Me what the hell?" The doc said gripping his fists, "You what the hell! Where have you been! Where did you take it! Where!?"
"Doc you okay? I think you should relax."
"I can not relax, you disappeared on me! You disappeared! I thought you ran away! I thought you lied to me about our deal!"
"Doc... Relax..." Cameron raised his wrist. "Your talking about the watch deal right?"
"Y- no I was talking about the deal, of me taking it off your hands."
"...why the hell did you overreact?"
"Because... I thought that thing might have taken you. The drone I thought it might have killed you and taken the watch and that's bad for everyone you know."
"Oh. Well you'll be pleased to know that I was on a school field trip and on that field trip I found a way to activate the watch without struggle."
"You learned that?"
Cameron squeezed the two buttons on the side and the dial popped up. "See? pretty neat right?"
"Amazing! That- you didn't use it did you?"
The boy paused, "um... Of course not... I promised after all..." He lied with sweat.
"Good. This is good, were making progress. Now that you're back, let's return to working on the removal of that thing on your wrist."
