Felicity

Once Felicity was safely inside her house with every door and window locked, she called her best friend Christie.

Christie had been her best friend since they were born. Their mothers had been close. Their mothers went through their pregnancies together and were born just a day apart. In a way, they had always felt more like sisters than just merely friends. Plus, it was a benefit having a friend who was also a shifter. Someone who knew exactly how it felt to be, well, different.

She got off the phone call with Christie and within ten minutes she was at Felicity's door. She wasn't about to let Felicity stay the night by herself.

"Hey," Felicity said as she shut the door behind Christie and triple-locked it.

"Hey."

"You weren't followed, were you?"

"Not that I know of. My senses didn't go off at least."

"Good. Okay. We need wine."
