When Jacob saw Charles aiming that gun at him, a mocking smile played on his lips.

Seeing that Jacob was not afraid at all, Charles roared furiously, "I'll shoot! The moment I pull the trigger, you'd be lying in a pool of blood instantly."

"Shoot, then. Your hand is trembling so much that you probably can't aim well, right? Why don't I move closer so that it's easier for you to aim?"

Jacob even inched closer to Charles so that he could get closer to the gun.

Charles flushed in fury when he saw Jacob's reaction. "Jacob, I will shoot. If you leave Pentagon now, I might still spare your life. Otherwise, I'll kill you."

Charles' face was completely red. He had never killed anyone, let alone shot someone with a gun. He had assembled this gun after buying the individual parts.

When he was overseas, he used to have a fascination for guns. After returning to his home country where guns were strictly regulated, he had secretly assembled one.
