章 155: The Road to Another Place
The view on top of the modified RV is still better even than in the tower located at the main gate of the shelter, Airon could easily observe the situation outside the walls of this shelter.
In the distance, inside the surrounding dense forest really affected the vision, so no one could detect the walkers approaching the shelter before.

This situation really was very unfavorable. Now the walkers began to pile up against the main gate and it was certain that it would fall to the ground soon after. This place was not worth defending when it was intended to be abandoned, so they just had to speed up the process.
"Daryl, we need to move now."
With a nod, Daryl followed and they both climbed down from the roof of the modified RV. Inside, everyone grabbed their weapons and donned their body armor. Airon picked up the shortwave radio and reported, "Move the vehicles towards the front door, everyone should be behind the modified RV."
George nodded, The modified RV started its engine and was driven towards the main gate followed by the other buses. After standing in front of the main gate, Airon looked at Liam and said, "Elias, I want you in the shooting port."
"Got it!" Liam grabbed his sniper rifle and climbed up to the shooting port.
Outside the main door of the shelter, slowly numerous walkers were piling up, the surrounding walls were no different and were also being surrounded.
Many people who had just finished packing their things and ran outside also saw this scene.
Many panicked, not being used to seeing walkers so close.
The rest who could still move starred as the walls of the shelter shook with force and all silently prayed that everyone would be safe.
As people ran one after the other, Airon on the outside looked at the crowd and then said, "Where is Ravi's wife?"

Airon could only sigh when he heard Bob's words, he asked no questions and had no intention of insisting or taking them by force either. Looking at his entire group, he signaled for them to board the modified RV.
"Bus drivers, don't hang back and never forget to follow us." Airon climbed into the co-driver's seat and left the control to George to manipulate the RV.
Upon starting the engine, the distance between the door and the modified RV was thirty meters, after everyone was seated George drove the RV at full speed.
"Everyone follows me closely!"
The bus engines started instantly, everyone had made a clear gap with the modified RV leading the way.
At that moment, George's eyes were fixed on the front door. Just now the door was already sagging inward, showing that it was about to break at any moment.
When the door showed clear signs that they were about to fall, just then under acceleration the modified RV sped forward.
The modified RV accelerated towards the door, the strong structure and the front fender was about to show its power.
The door was now about to break, but just before the walkers entered, a huge truck body slammed into the center of the front door and this enormous force caused the door to be instantly knocked down.
With the gate smashed to pieces, the modified RV advanced forward crushing all the walkers in its path. After breaking through the gate George's field of vision widened and everyone could see the figures in the surrounding area.
This vehicle has great power, and the structure installed at the front can smash any type of walker. All the figures in front of the RV were crushed, but because of the distance the cleared path would again be filled with walkers and this could make it difficult for the others to advance.
When Airon realized this, he grabbed the radio and shouted, "Fire! Clear the walkers on both sides."
"Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!"
Fierce gunfire echoed from the buses behind, and walkers on both sides of the road were quickly eliminated under the heavy firepower. Thanks to the modifications made to these buses, the convoy advanced smoothly.
Airon fixed his eyes on the road. Giving accurate reminders to George, he also discovered that the walkers were becoming denser.
"Remember to follow us closely, this is only temporary trouble and we will all get out easily."
After stopping talking, Airon reminded George that on the right was a closed old man and then they reached the road.
The roof of the modified RV at the shooting port also Jon climbed up next to Elijah. With earlier a machine gun had already been installed and skillfully he took aim at the walkers and the muzzle started firing numerous bullets.

Along with the bullets from the convoy, the dense shifters were cleared so that everyone advanced without any problems. Any group of walkers obstructing the group's path would be eliminated. With that, everyone took advantage of the gap and advanced.
Airon nervously watched the road ahead nervously, moving further and further away from the walkers along with the group without having any trouble.
He had been nervous that some of the buses would have some kind of problem, this would cause many casualties and this could trigger numerous problems.
But when Airon saw that all was well, he relaxed a little and gave a pat to George who was driving.
As he looked back to the front of the RV and the convoy, there was a group of people running out. But just behind, he saw some figures coming out of the woods.
Indeed, people. There was absolutely nothing abnormal to link these figures to walkers. These people were carrying guns and without hesitation they raised the barrels of their rifles and fired at the vehicle in front.
Seeing this, Airon frowned, turned to George and reminded him that there was nothing to worry about. But he didn't want to take any chances and stepped on the accelerator, knocked down some walkers on the road and rushed towards those dozen people.
Airon knew that these people must be members of the wolves, and the goal was to take down the modified RV that had attacked his group, once the main truck was taken down, the rest of the convoy would be easy to deal with.
A very vindictive group of people!
Airon was furious and yelled at Jon to shoot them through the firing port. The armored windshield took multiple shots and the glass crashed, making it difficult for George to see.
The strong armor was able to withstand most of the bullets and the RV moved forward, Jon had taken out many of the wolves ahead and the bullets tore their bodies apart. The one remaining wolf suddenly lost his sight. He quickly fired the last two bullets in the magazine and soon after there was a snap.
"Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!"
With one more round of bullets, the last wolf on the road was killed. The wheels of the modified RV and the buses passed over the corpses of these people without stopping and they all moved forward.
