章 32: Chapter 32: Hairless Hares

Sophie and Ilaria

The Palace - 9:30 PM

Continuing to explore the house, Sophie and Gabriella walked together as Sophie ate.

Eventually they found their way to a very interesting room full of wolves talking privately in clustered groups. Sophie could feel an uncomfortable tension coming from some of the wolves they passed by.

The walls, floor, and ceiling of the spacious room were covered entirely with mirrors. The endless reflections were a bit disorienting.

Spaced throughout the room were sculptures set on pedestals. One sculpture at the very center of the room caught Sophie’s attention. She made her way over to it.

Two red velvet ropes extended out diagonally from the back of the sculpture to the corners of the room, preventing guests from gathering in the V-shape they created.

Looking at the sculpture, Sophie shook her head incredulously. She leaned forward to see her face reflected in the tummy of a three foot stainless steel rabbit.
