It's been a few nights since I went to Giovanni's penthouse and ran away after I planned to clean myself up and realized I couldn't face him after what happened. I didn't know what to do, so as soon as I heard him leave the room, I right my clothes and booked it out of there, gaining suspicious looks from his security at the foyer.

Somehow, I kinda felt like it was a walk of shame even though we didn't exactly have sex. But isn't that what they do, to avoid awkward conversations after a one-night stand, they'd sneak out of the bedroom to leave before the other woke up? Neither doesn't know what to say to the other, especially since neither wants to have anything to do with the other afterward. I now understand why that is—again, even if Gio and I technically didn't have sex.
