章 49: Chapter 49: Why Me?

Sage and Caspian spent a week at the coven. Her mother packed her a bag full of herbs and crystals to take to her new home. Sage visited Nikolas daily, updating him on what was happening outside his cell. If he was surprised at the arrangement between the witches and shifters, he didn’t show it.

Sage promised to visit as much as possible and Nikolas swore to send word as soon as he was released.

They had one last stop before she could move to her new home. They traveled back to the School of the Unnatural. It felt strange to be returning, with nothing seemingly different at school. Caspian held her hand as they walked into the school, and she saw him smirking at the looks they received from the other students. Sage reveled at the fact they didn’t have to hide from the world anymore.

She was proud to be by Caspian’s side.
