章 29: Chapter 29: Back at the Bar

Rhiannon's POV

How was she about to be late to work?

Lauren was almost always late, that was her thing, it was part of her charm.

But Rhiannon?

Rhiannon flew down the metal steps and flung open the door to the bar. Stopping in Rich's office to clock in, she breathed a sigh of relief. A minute to spare.

She had stayed up with John until the wee hours of the morning. They hadn't woken up until nearly one o' clock this afternoon, draped over each other in John's oversized bed.

When she had slipped her sundress over her head and made to leave, John had stopped her. He had bent her over the side of his bed for round four or five, she had lost count before he would let her leave for work.

Rhiannon had giggled, reminding him he could always come and see her at work.

John had growled to her, asking if he could do this while she was at work.

Rhiannon had told him he would just have to come find out.

"Hello?" Lauren snapped her fingers in front of Rhiannon's face.
