章 22: The beauty in living one day after other.

Hermes, who was watching all that, decided to play with the situation a little. "Professor, what do you think of other gods like Hermes?"

Hela smiled at Hermes' question and seriously considered ignoring him. "I'm not an expert on Greek Mythology... But I believe he's like a wildcard when it comes to the reality of the Greeks, he does everything asked of him and he seems to converse perfectly with anyone... Perceptive and helpful."

Hermes smiled confidently, Hela's words sounded like high praise.

Hearing that, Ina also wanted to join in the fun. "What about the goddess Ina?"

Hela grinned and for the first time the students could see a bit of sweetness before them.

The teacher could be serious and say things not very understandable, but she was a woman in love and full of sweetness for her wife.

Hela thought for a while, felt a little embarrassed. "When we studied her story we realized that she means kindness and compassion to those most in need... A goddess who cannot see and who upon dying of hunger is bestowed with eternal life, she is definitely someone who excels in beauty and benevolence... Perhaps a symbol of hope, if you have it with you nothing should go wrong..."

Ina could feel her heart racing.

Hela's words were sweet and kind, filled with good feelings and sensations.

Ina for a few seconds felt like she was about to cry and smiled awkwardly, but even so, her smile was still beautiful and light.

Knowing that her wife saw her that way was in many ways rewarding.

Hermes, who was watching everything attentively, smiled when he saw Ina moved and with a slight snap of his fingers, he produced a handkerchief so that she could wipe away the tears that insisted on falling.

Ina thanked her with a smile.

Hele sighed a little anxiously, wishing she could hug and kiss Ina.

She stared at the clock and it had been some time since she had started to speak.

"Well... I'm going to ask you to read the first reference book for my discipline that should introduce you to the beginnings of what we understand as Norse Mythology... Don't think too much about grades, I ask you to focus on studying and attending classes and although many things seem confusing at first you will have a better understanding over time... Well, that's all for today and see you at the first official class next week."

Hela smiled in satisfaction and all the students started to get ready to leave and leave.

Hela walked softly over to where Ina was sitting and lowered herself gently so that the two of them were at approximately the same height.

Ina touched her wife's face and smiled "You were great."

Hela could feel her face a little warmed and it comforted her.

She took her wife's hand and placed a soft kiss.

"I made it just because you were here with me... You are my certainty that everything will be fine..."

Ina smiled a little sheepishly and continued stroking Hela's face. "Do you think you are in a bad position to be in need of my benevolence?"

Hela denied it. "I used to need your benevolence... Today I just need your love, that's why I'm strong... I'm strong for having you."

Ina and Hela smiled at each other and just didn't kiss because they knew the situation wasn't the most convenient for exacerbated displays of affection.

Hermes thanked the heavens.

Why were they both so sweet?!

He got up excitedly, mainly to get away from that couple in love. "Let's take advantage of everyone gone and let's go to the office."

Hela and Ina also got up.

Everyone seemed ready to move on and it wasn't long before they were finally inside the office.

Hela had a large room that she would share with another teacher.

Interestingly, the teacher who would share the room with Hela was exactly the person in charge of researching the Holy Grail.

Hermes was really efficient.

Ina hugged her wife once more and Hermes, tired of being left behind, quickly said goodbye and walked away, leaving the couple completely at ease.

Ina wrapped Hela in her arms and kept her face close to the crook of her wife's neck.

Finally they would be alone.

After what happened in Asgard, Hermes hadn't left their side in any instant, which in a way was a problem for a couple in love.

"Did you enjoy the class?"

Hela whispered as she felt Ina's breath hit her skin.

Ina nodded, she was tired.

She had used her third eye for much longer than she was used to and the cost was all of her life energy being completely drained.

"I like it, you look like a sexy teacher..."

Hela smiled, feeling funny.

"If you saw the students' horrified eyes, you would think I was an executioner."

Ina smiled and met her wife's eyes.

Hela always felt breathless at the sight of the bloodshot eyes.

Her legs weakened automatically. "I just think you're the best ever."

Ina brought her face close to Hela's and gently brought her lips to hers.

"I'm proud of you… I love you so much."

Hela smiled and all she wanted at that moment was to cease any distance between them.

That's how a kiss filled with desire and heat began.

Hela could feel the grip on her waist tightening and her breathing becoming more labored.

The tangle of lips, tongues, was intense and uncertain.

They didn't know where they were going, they just knew they needed to get home as soon as possible.

Despite the incessant kisses, Hela could still feel someone's presence approaching.

Carefully she walked away from Ina and despite her questioning look, they didn't have much time to talk about it.

The door opened in a matter of seconds.

A woman appeared accompanied by half a dozen people who by the looks of it should be students.

The woman looked at Hela and Ina and felt intrigued. "Boys, I have no intention of working overtime just grading papers to make sure you get above average grades… Just give up on that idea."

The woman remained serious in front of the students and they were completely anguished and complicated.

They didn't try to convince her and left the room as quickly as they entered.

Hela smiled briefly and walked over to the woman to greet her. "Hello, I'm Hela the new teacher..."

The woman who previously kept herself serious, corrected her posture and smiled in amusement. "My name is Lauren Gordon, I specialize in divine relics and currently keep myself busy researching the Holy Grail."

Hela smiled, yes, that woman should help her a lot in the future.

Ina, Hela and Lauren stayed in that room for many hours talking about historical facts... Mainly about the Holy Grail.

Basically Lauren was about to undertake a great trip, an archaeological expedition would be made in an attempt to find evidence of the location of the Holy Grail.

The woman was talking animatedly about her work and how everything indicated that she would be very successful on this trip.

Hela and Ina were infected with Lauren's animation and if they didn't interrupt, they could spend many hours just listening to her talk.

Hermes was no longer with them, but the problem would probably arise at another time.

But Hela wanted to take a little break and take a walk with Ina.

However, they did commit to asking Lauren out for dinner sometime so they could continue the conversation.

Good, really friendly.

Hela and Ina walked in slow steps, feeling the soft breeze against their faces.

With their hands intertwined they walked towards the new house.

The feeling of living in a place teeming with life and movement was so different yet rejuvenating.

They remained for a thousand years in the middle of nothingness, where there was only darkness.

Now they could walk unpretentiously through the streets and simply contemplate the people and the place.

Ina still felt tired, but she felt truly happy.

The two briefly sat on a bench in the middle of a square and intertwined their fingers.

They kept leaning against each other and enjoyed each other's pleasant presence.

Until the emergence of a small noise.

Ina blushed with embarrassment, her stomach rumbled with hunger.

Hela laughed, feeling funny.

They weren't used to Ina acting like a human, in all the thousand years they'd lived together Ina hadn't felt hungry and barely felt sleepy. But now she was a mortal and it would be normal for her to have different needs than they had before.

Hela looked around and there were a few restaurants already in business. "How about we go out to dinner tonight?"

Ina was about to activate her third eye when she felt the gentle touch on her face.

Hela stroked her lightly and whispered. "Don't push yourself too hard… Remember when we first met and you just decided to trust me? Let's eat something delicious and go home to rest."

Ina smiled a little bewildered, but she nodded.

The two intertwined their fingers and walked to a random restaurant where they could eat without thinking too much about what the future had in store for them.

You must ask yourself about the frequency of chapters, Aurore is participating in the content Romance Carnival and if you are informed you should know that 100,000 words is one of the criteria to make the story eligible for the award... Well, I don't know if I will win and if i have a chance with this storyline haha, but i'm trying and i'm having fun in the process (which i think is the most important thing). I assume it's a very frantic pace of posts for me to get the amount of words in time, but I'm trying hard, it won't be for lack of effort haha. Well, I hope you guys can support me with your comments, power stones and reviews. It helps a lot and motivates me. I think that when it arrives in mid-February we will have chapters in lesser frequency, but everything will depend on the story itself. Also, don't forget that I have other stories in progress, I hope you might be interested in reading the others and when you miss Aurore know that there are others that can entertain you. :) lol this got pretty long, did you read all of it? write 'peanut' in the comments if you did haha

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
