Forewarning and note before reading
Before diving in just wanted to warn everybody that my track record on updaring my fics aren't great, but if you're as much of a hopeless gambler as me then I'm sure its all the better.
But in all seriousness, this is my flight of fancy. I haven't really prepared anything, I have no coherent plan for the future. Sure I've made some notes and research purely since my story is based completely out of canon. E.g being flexible with characters, having to make my own, and making backstories for pureblood families that are frankly almost irrelevant in the Hp universe. Now that I'm thinking about it most of the pureblood families have no history or identity other than being cliche Slytherin blood purists that are set as a foil for the main cast. And if any of you wanna write a Hp ff there is surprisingly quite a lot of space for AU worldbuilding, at least I've found it quite fun.
So yeah anyway this'll be strongly AU, it kinda had to be. There is no established lore for this time period besides a few scant names and some key characters that existed toward the end of the century. Think 1890's Dumbledore, Grindelwald Etc. So I'm really reaching in the dark here. Main inspiration I think is 1, the new legacy game that is coming out and 2, the black hole in history prior to the magical beast franchise.
And using this time period gives me enough leeway to interact with some established characters if I really wanted to. But besides that its my own sandbox to mess around with as much as I want. So some ideas and thoughts would be great. Especially since both the title and synopsis were randomly written cause I had to have something, so any imput and ideas for say, the name of the fic. Or maybe some bloodline abilities (think metamorphmagus, parseltongue). Or maybe a completely original store, organisation or magical family would be great. The more backstory and history would be better, but if they're is not thats not an issue. If its interesting I'll take it and run with it.
Anyway thanks for reading my rant, if any of you did, and enjoy the chapter I post. Who knows it might be the only one. P.s its unedited for now, cba to edit its 12am and I have work in the morning.
